KFC Narrabri — Restaurant in Narrabri

I don't know if it's under new management or what, but it's a painfully long wait for any order. I'm typing this at 2pm while waiting for my order, at a time I wouldn't have thought could be considered the lunch rush. I visit Narrabri a few times each year, so I'm not stranger to this KFC, but it's never been as bad as it is right now. And it's not an isolated incident, I've visited a few times in the last couple weeks and this is consistently the experience I get. Part of it seems to be a lack of staff, which, I get it, often you can't have the amount of staff you really need. But the staff that are on just move so slowly! We can see them! I don't know if it's new training that's required, or new staff, or new management, but something changed since I was last here, and it needs to be changed back. 23 minutes and still waiting for my order...

EDIT: Thank you for your generic response, KFC. I would give you more specifics, but I really don't know what more I can add to the above. If you need time of day, it was occurring right as I was writing the review, but it's also consistently happened every other time I've gone in the last few weeks, and the other recent reviews here suggest it's to be expected at this point.

True story. No adult supervision 6 kids running KFC. 20mins easy awaiting to be served along with others kids packing orders not taking any just turned and look at us in line. Then kid serving walked away went to toilet for 5mins Comming back turned his back on customers then started packing food still not taking orders. I told the guy in front off me stand at counter . Say are you serving today . Every body laughted. About 6 mins after I turned to the guy with a face as long as I plain plank. Said what you want. He ordered he looked towards me and I said don't walk away placed my order. Then 2 off the 6 kids ran out the shop. Finished work I guessed. As Riley and kid taking a few orders started talking. My God I have never ever see a KFC run by kids . No 1 adult in store. Totally unexpected. Not wanted . Not needed. Also forgot the store was filthy. Floors full off rubbish scraps off food . Worth store I seen in years don't believe me watch your CTV around 5.30 to 6.10 pm...

⭐️ 1 Star Review – Very Disappointing Experience

I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. On two separate occasions traveling through Narrabri, we’ve stopped at KFC for a quick feed — and both times have been terrible.

The sign before entry said “Drive-through only – not enough staff,” so we went through the drive-through and waited around 25 minutes to order. When we finally got to the window, they had run out of chicken and just made up our order with whatever they had left.

The food we received was overcooked, the chips were awful, and overall it was completely inedible. After eating a small amount, I started feeling very unwell a few hours later.

After two bad experiences, I’ll never stop there again. Really disappointing service and quality — KFC needs to take a good look at what’s happening...
