Delicious food, good coffee but service can be a little slow at times.
The coffee was recommended by a friend of mine, so I decided I would go here for lunch.
When I arrived, I was waiting at the counter for about 5-10 mins before being served. The staff did apologise for the wait and went ahead to take my order.
I ordered the steak sandwich with chips ($20) and a medium size coffee ($4.70). My coffee was ready right away in 5 mins, but my steak sandwich was going to be a while. Not sure if there was an issue in the kitchen but several of the orders took about 20-25 mins before coming out of the kitchen. The staff again apologised for the delay which I kindly appreciated.
The coffee was as expected. Good quality beans and full of flavour. The steak sandwich was delicious although a little soggy after travelling in a take away container for 5 mins. They mixed the regular chips with sweet potato chips which was a nice surprise which I liked, although I'm not sure if this is standard or simply due to a mix up in the kitchen earlier. I would estimate the slice of steak used in the sandwich is a beef scotch fillet about 150g in size.
Overall it is a nice cafe and I would definitely go back for the coffee. If the cafe replaced the normal sliced bread with something like Turkish bread or foccia bread then it would...
Read moreI recently stopped by this gorgeous little cafe in Narrabri, and honestly, it was such a highlight of my trip! It's tucked next to a garden centre, which gives it such a peaceful, vibrant atmosphere — you can literally smell the fresh plants while you sip your coffee.
The energy here is just amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, you could tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. They even went out of their way to suggest a few vegan-friendly options for me, which I really appreciated. The avocado on pumpkin bread was absolutely delicious — such a great mix of flavours — and the coffee was spot on too.
It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit outside, soak up the sun, and enjoy the relaxed vibe. Whether you're passing through or staying a while, I highly recommend making a stop here. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in...
Read moreI am a coffee lover. I like to try a coffee in new places. This time I ran into a Coogle Cafe. There is definitely decent variety in the Manu especially the sweet section. Had a barry custurd Danish. Was too sweet for me, also heated in a microwave for sure but I realise that most places do it the same way, unfortunately. The scenery is very distinctive (not everyone may like it, but I did not mind). Coffee itself was rather OK. Nothing extraordinary, bit bitter taste, nice creama, good consistency and much better than One23 Coffee around the corner which was boiling hot and burnt. Coogle Cafe does not large mugs just in case you want dine in. You will get it in the take away cup. Service needs more courtesy towards clients, they have rather "teenager attitude". My overall experience is quite good. I recommend...
