Bobby's Cafe Ettalong Beach — Restaurant in New South Wales

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming café in Ettalong, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting, filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee ☕ and delicious treats. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the start. I ordered a meal, and it was cooked to perfection, and I could taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. The presentation was also impeccable, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The coffee ☕ was rich and flavorful, the perfect complement to the meal. Moreover, the location of the café, near the beach 🏖️, added to the charm and appeal. What a lovely surprise. Went there this morning and I must say that I am impressed. The service was amazing, friendly, upbeat, clean and thorough.

The food was so freaking good, the scrambled eggs are made to perfection!!! Bacon is perfectly crisp, corn fritters and poached egg are perfectly made, full of flavour. The coffee is smooth and the milk perfect temperature, perfect flavour, perfect crema, silky smooth and perfectly frothed milk, not to mention so delicious.

The covid standards were met and that is great. Every member of staff wore a mask and cleaned tables and chairs before anyone sat down. Good work team!

I do just ask they make sure every table is checked in by asking to see the screen once done. I know you’re busy (believe me I know from experience). But just ask to have a look to be safe. It’s important to be sure everyone is checked...

The Eggs Benedict are not Eggs Benedict, and are in fact Eggs Florentine, but you do have the option to add bacon for an additional $8, which makes the dish $28. They garnish the Eggs Florentine with a lot of Paprika, which luckily I noticed before I ordered as I am highly allergic to paprika (eggs Benedict generally have no garnish or finely cut parsley or chives due to the delicate flavour of the dish). The serving was generous, and the bacon was cooked nicely, but unfortunately my eggs were cooked hard, which wasn't pleasant. There was also a huge amount of baby spinach, most of which I took off. The Chai Latte was nice. I felt it was overpriced for the quality, even taking in to account the public holiday surcharge of 15%. It was nice, but we probably won't be back, as there are much better options...
