Culburra Cake Shop — Restaurant in New South Wales

This is my first review. I don't want to seem like one of those whingers that complain about everything because this is not the case. My partner & I live in the area & have given this place a fair crack. We have tried almost all of their pies, pastries & rolls in hope to find something half decent to nibble on. They have failed on every account & broke my last straw when I ordered a cheese & bacon for $2.40, that was literally a stale roll with a pathetic excuse of cheese & bacon on it. The roll had one speck of bacon floating on there (that came off in the bag anyways) & half a slice of thinly grated cheese on top. I'm currently pregnant & was craving a cheese & bacon badly, seeing this roll pushed me over the edge. After many failed attempts with these guys over the last couple of years, I've resorted to avoiding this bakery & going to the other one, near BWS (which might I add is fantastic), but unfortunately they are closed on Sunday'. When my partner suggested we try this place again, his quote being "surely they can't f* up a cheese & bacon roll" I agreed to go there. Big mistake for us... I don't usually speak up on these kinds of forums, wondering if anyone ever reads these things but I feel if we don't speak up how will these tyrants ever know to pull their heads in! If you are looking for a grizzle & fat pie or pastry for a price they don't deserve, this sure is your "go to bakery when in town", otherwise if you are looking for decent pies, the best pies in this region is Huski Bakery in town at Nowra or if you want fresh bakery goods close by, you're best bet is the bakery (Hot Bread Shop) near BWS in Culburra. Bought a few pastries and cakes lets start with horrible tasting chocolate cake and eggy tasting custard tart, tastless pecan pie along with few other pastries except for the apple turnover and cinnamon donuts which was quite nice. Rude staff. This lady came and shout at me for no particularly reason. The place was practically empty with only 3 customers and she was completely stressed out. Why? Probably having a bad day. She just came and shout at me: "I've told you 7 times that we don't have this". She wasn't even attending me. A nice asian guy was the one attending me.
