Golden Century — Restaurant in New South Wales

Absolutely love the food, and have returned several times. This is Chinese food as I remember... Huge portions, good ingredients and cooked to perfection (fried rice that tastes like it's hit the flames as it's been tossed in a scorching hot wok. Fantastic!) chow mein was delicious and they have so many options (especially the omelettes which are packed with ingredients, flavour and cooked perfectly) we have eaten in, nothing fancy, the food speaks for itself. And we've had it delivered several times and all their drivers and prompt and pleasant. This is our new favourite since moving to the area recently. Keep up the good work and we will most certainly...

So disappointed in this restaurants attitude tonight as we have been long term customers here.

We paid by card tonight and were asked if we wanted a receipt. We said no, the lady turned her back to us and we asked if the payment went through to which she replied yes all good, thank you, bye.

Whilst sitting down to eat we received a message to advise that the payment declined and to either return and pay immediately or they will call the cops.

We called immediately to sort out the issue, but the lady continued to be rude and blame us while we paid over the phone.

Horrible service tonight, but normally good...

We always order from here and the food is always great everytime. I wouldn’t normally leave a review but this this time they went above and beyond. After ordering we realised too late that due to allergies we couldn’t have one of the meals, we called up but the food was already on its way (speedy service) when the food arrived the driver advised that he is going to head back to the store to swap the meals for us. They didn’t need to do that as it was our mistake but they still replaced it and the driver came back, all free of charge. Really wouldn’t expect that from a restaurant....
