Nonno’s Olive Tree Cafe’ — Restaurant in New South Wales

First time visiting with my youngest son for lunch. Was greeted with a friendly smile from the owner, and had the pick of tables. Great food and service was warm, friendly and professional. A real credit to the three young ones working today, well done. However, was a little let down by having to listen to a real unhappy older female staff member whinge. Was great to hear Mario say to her you need to wait our customers come first which is so refreshing. During the visit got to know Mario a bit more chatted through out. We were deciding on dessert and Mario listened to what we both wanted and a few lovely compliments thrown in lol. We ended up grabbing a dessert box on our way out as we were both full. Desserts were delicious, we got what we both wanted and more. Great afternoon. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great price. Very cosy, and relaxed. Today was the day when we noticed some areas for improvement in the hospitality at your cafe. First and foremost, a big and heartfelt congratulations on the remarkable growth—it's well-deserved, and you truly have earned every bit of it! I was disappointed not to see you in person today to pass along my congratulations, but I brought two friends with me to try Nanos Olive Tree Cafe around 12:30 PM.

The food, as always, was amazing, and we loved it. However, the hospitality fell short this time. A welcoming atmosphere was missing; instead, there was a sense of rudeness and even taunting. One staff member (the lady who brought our food) was quite impolite, which made the experience uncomfortable. I don't want to imply it was racially motivated, but it didn’t feel too far from that.
