Isla’s cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

If first impressions count, this was dismal. I turned up past opening time this morning and a man was walking out of the cafe and I asked him if the cafe wasn’t ready yet. He said ‘no, and rude’. I went inside and politely asked the girl behind the coffee machine if they were nearly ready to be open. Incredibly rudely and without looking up to make eye contact said ‘we’re not open yet’. I asked whether she would mind if I sat to wait for a takeaway coffee. She visibly rolled her eyes, made a loud sigh, grunted and said ‘god, I suppose if you want’. A Stellar Coffee Experience at 21 Red Espresso recently popped into 21 Red Espresso and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was simply amazing. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, making for a truly pleasant visit. The vibe of the place is lovely it's gota great atmosphere that feels just right. wasn't too busy when was there, which meant I could really relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. I only stopped in for a coffee, but it was good. Even though I didn't try any of the food this time, everything looked delicious, I'd definitely be back to give their food a go. I cannot comment on the coffee, as I am not a drinker.

However the hot chocs, burgers, toasties, salads, vegan treats and everything in between are always exceptional. Honestly one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had at a cafe, the croutons are amazing!

The staff are always super friendly, even when they are run off their feet. Highly recommend a visit to 21 Red.
