Like the photo 'X' marks the spot, of the Mandarin Chinese restaurant, Pacific Highway, in Swansea. Consistency in excellence and quality dishes. Somewhere all locals go to and definitely highly recommended. Fresh seafood, meat and quality vegetables used, you can taste it in every dish. Favourites include any sate dish especially prawns or beef sate, vegetarian fried rice and chicken and corn soup. Dining in for family get together or celebrations all catered for. Licensed too. #Seafood #Fish #Chips #Scallops #FreshlyCaught #Crabs #Mudcrabs #Mussels #Oysters #VegetarianOptions #Chips #SupportLocalBusiness #Swansea #NSW #Australia #ChineseFood #AsianFood #Dumplings #SpringRolls #ChickenAndCornSoup #ShortSoup #CombinationLongSoup #BBQDuck #MongolianLamb #SweetAndSourPork #LemonBonelessChicken #VegetarianFirdRice #SpecialFriedRice #CrispyNoodles #BeefAndBlackBeanSauce

Located on the Pacific Hwy of my beloved hometown. Been coming here on and off since I was kid. In fact we are friends with the guy who originally built this place well before it was a Chinese restaurant. My memories of this place has always been good. Decor will definitely take you back to the 80's but what matters is that in the occasions we dined here it has always got good food and good service. I did notice since last time here that prices have gone up like most places these days. We ordered sweet and sour pork it was nice, good balance of sweetness and sourness. Special fried rice with little cubes of Spam instead of ham lol and combination satay which was delicious with tender chicken, beef and prawns. Total cost with a can of Coke was $62. All in all it was enjoyable and would recommend to others.

Normally, food from here is ok but yesterday our Ok Chinese food were a bit oily, over prices and too much monosodium-glutamate as we all felt very thirsty. Our Tofu dish was rather far away from what shown in the menu/picture...rather disappointed in this dish. But salt & pepper chicken and prawn toast were very nice. $110 for 2 adults 1 children, I would expect better quality of food than what we got.

VERY BAD...Saturday night...you would think the busiest night so a decent chef. Impossible, waited an hour for our food...rice was old and stodgy only good for the rubbish bin. Meat dishes were clear cornflour and water with the star of the sauce black bean completely absent, but salt overkill, inedible. The onions were cooked with the first tough layers included in the dish, so the mouthful had to be spat out three times in a row. we complained, asked for our money back as three dishes were completely disgusting. A fight between the cook and the staff ensued, we were told we could not have a refund. We had no dinner, and no...
