The Customer Service has gotten better, however, the quality of the burgers still has a long way to go, and if it takes just that little bit longer to make a burger where the ketchup and/mustard DOESN'T end up in the lap, and all over the hands, of the consumer, then it's a wait that I, and I dare say the rest of the traveling consumer, would be prepared to wait for... The two hamburgers that I chose to purchase yesterday (I was hoping that the quality would have gotten better, after my last experience some time ago) left me having to wipe up my pants and shirt, my steering wheel, and even the paper in which they were wrapped in, had more of the sauces on it, than was in between the buns, I just don't understand why they can't get that one simple thing right, especially when you consider that other, far busier restaurants, can make them, WITHOUT having to need to clean up so much mess, maybe the odd DRY CLEANING & VEHICLE DETAILING INVOICE, to the franchisee, would rectify this quality control issue that plagues this particular restaurant, because it's now going to remain the restaurant that I avoid on my regular travels between my home and my Sydney trips..! But yes, the speed of the service itself, has indeed improved, if only it wasn't being spoiled by this particular issue of the back-end quality, and I feel like I'm being generous by giving three stars. I definitely WOULDN'T recommend this store to anyone whom I know, either the locals, but especially not those whom also are trying to meet a deadline, because of the need to have to stop somewhere in order to clean themselves, and their vehicles, because of this aforementioned, continued, issue. Either pick up your game, or forever be known as the WORST store that I've had to deal with, and with MY reviews being so 'popular', this is going to resonate among the masses, and no, I'm not going to give credit where it's NOT due, sorry, but you've brought such this type of review upon yourselves, and again, maybe when the store owner/s are being billed for the damages, if that's what it takes for this issue to be resolved, then clearly, this store is going to suffer for quite some time to come, or maybe Head Office need to step in instead, but something needs...
Read moreWe were using the maccas app, there were zero cars behind us and the woman on the speaker (also at the first window who she slammed the door on us..) was making us flustered on using the app in the first place, we managed to fix it and get the code within 30 seconds to a minute at most
. Most people don’t complete their full order after 2-3 minutes so I don’t know why she was so bloody rude to us and once we got to the first window she tried to make us pay again?! while slamming the sliding door in our faces?! I’ve worked in retail, I understand how hard it get but there wasn’t a single car in line or behind us the whole time. It was bad attitude, rude behaviour and she need to get her priorities in place. She was hassling us over and over and over again for a code that again only took us 30 seconds to get. If you’re not mentally well enough to serve people and wanna crash out over 30 seconds be my guest but don’t do that to other people who don’t deserve it and also remember your representing a massive company. Rude. If you wanna slam the door in someone’s face simply because we didn’t meet your timing standards then I’d be pulling them aside from a management standpoint. This was on the 11/2/2025 at around 8:30pm. Get better manners, do the job description as promised and you’ll probably get a better experience with customers who aren’t trying to harm you or do you wrong. I never have issues with retail staff as I used to work at kfc and McDonalds as assistant managers for 7 years. Never, ever treated a customer that way even though I was going through what I was going through at the time: next time treat everyone as an equal the way we treat you all as equals. Thanks, hope she gets pulled aside for that atrocious...
Read moreThe worst customer service of any McDonald's in Australia. The staff swear and curse constantly. Management needs to improve. Unfortunately this is on a highway and the only store on the southbound side of the road to get a meal. If there was any other place to stop I would rather stop there.
I pass through Lithgow a lot and visit this store on my way through.Store was not overly crowded. The self service machines were not printing receipts so i did not know what my number was. Whilst waiting for my food the attendant Rhys was complaining that people were ordering food and not picking it up. I noticed a lady who had been to the bathroom come and collect her food that was sitting on the counter. Obviously this is why she hadn't picked her food up quickly. I found Rhys rude. I accidentally picked up some food that appeared to be what I ordered as I walked to the door I noticed it was not what I ordered so I went to return it back to the counter. An elderly man was explaining he had not received his food and Rhys explained a lady came and took off with it - meaning me. I told Rhys I couldn't remember my number as the machines were not printing off receipts. the elderly man agreed with me. Rhys took the man's food and chucked it in the bin and said if I wasn't sure of my number I could ask him. So I asked him what my number was and he didn't know, so I had to tell him my order again. His demeanour was very rude for a customer simply making a mistake. If he cannot handle a counter position perhaps he should be moved to the kitchen, where customers are not going to...
