I never do this sort of thing but my experience was so just so terrible i just need to say something. Today i went through drive through to get something for my sick friend to help her out. When i relayed my order for a cheeseburger with cheese and onion they seemed to understand but when i asked for a large iced coffee they replyed 'latte?' i said 'no, a large iced coffee'They then responded 'long black?' i was baffled so once more slowly i said 'no, a large iced coffee!' there was a pause and then they asked 'will that be all?' i said 'yes thats it thanks' I was told to drive on, when i got to the window i was asked how i was paying, it came to $10.45 Isaid ive got the 45 in change id like to get rid of and rest on card Ithen handed over 50c and said 'just keep the 5c' to which she asked 'sorry?' I repeated myself and she just gave me a vague look and said 'thats $9.95 on card' I paused and said 'i said just keep the 5c, like give it to charity or whatever' Another puzzled look with an added pause. I was just annoyed now and just paid the rest with card. I couldnt handle repeating myself again it seemed a lost cause. I arrived at next window to get order they handed me the burger and then proceeded to then give me what i think was a large(hey they got that part right) iced long black!!! I didnt take it and said 'i ordered a large iced coffee'...another vacant puzzled look. then she turned away and a manager (i think) came to the window and said 'can i help?' Id just about lost it by then and i said 'I ORDERED A LARGE ICED COFFEE' He took the long black and asked me to wait in bay. Im not joking i waited 12-15min!. By then it had almost been a 30min event. Finally i got drink and drove home...but wait it just gets better. I gave the meal to my friend and was in a pretty bad mood as i was trying to get to chemist by 7pm it was 5.50pm at that stage. She opened her 'burger' to find a bun, a slice of cheese and, wait for it...about a quarter of a cup of diced onion...she just looked up at me and asked 'whats this?' i looked and just lost it. I just couldnt believe what i was seeing. Im like 'WTF??? OMG thats a chese sandwich with the most onions ive ever seen!!!' 'Thats a joke im going back, you honestly wouldnt believe what i went through' Itold her the story and she started eating saying 'its ok dont worry about it' Iwish i had a picture of it , you wouldnt believe the onions, they were everywhere. She took another bite and said dont worry. I got it off her and she said 'well at least get yourself something' Igrabbed the reciept and gasped, they charged you $4.80 FOR THAT! Theres no way your paying for something for me as well! They will be compensating me for my time and petrol! I got on the phone to maccas and told them what was going on and what we recieved ad he asked 'so what did you want???' OMG WAS I SPEAKING ANOTHER LANGUAGE? i told him i was on my way and expected something complementary for compensation and hung up. Igot to the intercom and said i was returning an incorrect order. She said ok come to the window. I said 'thats it? I expect to be compensated for my time and petrol' another pause...i said 'Well what can you offer me?' She said 'what would you like?' 'A coffee would be nice' 'What sort do you want?' I said 'just a regular latte with 2 sugars thanks' and then the order flashed on the screen..with price. Im like 'im not paying for it, i said i want compensation do you know what that is???' Another pause and then 'drive through' Igot to window and she said 'next window' I got to next window and the girl held out three large drinks to me as she thought it was my order...WOW. I should have just grabbed the but was to stunned. Iexplained i was returning an incorrect order and expected some kind of compensation for my time and petrol. Another blank stare then she turned and the 'manager' came over and asked 'so what did you want?' and surprise surprise i had to explain it in detail 3 times and two different ways and made him repeat it back. He turned away as i was saying about being...
Read moreI always come to maccas late at night in the early morning because I work late.
me and my business partner have a problem with the warilla location 90% of the time no exaggeration.
Whether it be the food is stone cold (fries scraped from the back, i used to work at maccas, I know about the old fries hidden in the corners that are meant to be thrown away).
The food is cremated and so chewy it’s no joke inedible. The meat is essentially jerky (it’s been sitting in the heat rack for probably 40 minutes).
hair in the food (happened to me AGAIN last week).
missing items constantly.
burger customisations not being read.
Every time I bring up one of these issues with the managers on shift I’m always met with a blunt and obnoxious tone, most times also with such an attitude that you’d get from a 12 year old who’s disobeying her parents. I’m made out to be like I’m a Karen. I used to work at maccas albion Park rail when i was younger, i know about the awful pay and the work environments but it is no excuse to treat strangers with such disregard! Never in my time working at maccas was i ever rude to a customer even when they were in the wrong. The point is all of these issues aren’t something I’ve caused. I can’t believe it’s gotten to a point where I’m apologising to a manger for having to remake my food when there’s hair in it, or because it’s inedible. It’s completely backwards. Im not even a karen I’m 22 years old for gods sake. Who knows though maybe I’m seen as an old man because of the age gape between a 15 year old and myself.
The order that I just received was a few items, one of them being a mcspicy. The mcspicy was mummified. The inside of the chicken started to turn yellow because it was turning into jerky. I politely gave the burger back for them to remake it, was told to go to the waiting bay so I did. The rest of the food ended up going cold because I was waiting for 7 minutes. Ended up eating the food then I bit into something so hard I stopped and opened the burger. The bacon i had added was mummified. This bacon was actually jerky this time. I have a photo you’ll actually agree with me. Medium chips were half full as well. And of course I didn’t call the store because I would have received more attitude for something I didn’t...
Read moreWORST MACCAS EVER!!!!! Honestly this maccas needs to be closed down. Somehow they always manage to get my family’s order wrong. Our meal is either cold, not what we ordered or missing items. We go through drive through never at peak hour and we always end up having to wait in waiting bay and then end up having to go inside to get our order remade or corrected.
To top it off the managers have absolutely NO IDEA what they are doing and have disgusting attitude. I once ordered a filet-o-fish and it was COLD! Once explaining to the manager how upset I was as not only serving cold fish is concerning but I am also pregnant her response was “oh ok” no apology or offer to remake. My family and I now try to avoid going to Albion park maccas but in the rare occasion we do stop by if on the way.
Tonight was unfortunately one of those nights my partner waited in waiting bay once again. To only one other customer being there and receiving his food cold. Once parking and going inside he asked them to remake it. After getting home and opening his meal he realised it was not only incorrect but items were wrong and drink was flavourless. After calling multiple times to no answer then finally getting through and asking for an explanation from the manager she response with “what explanation would you like me to give you” we told her how poor her service is and that staff need to be put back in training. I also advised we would be calling customer service and she responded “ok I’ll tell them you were swearing at me” not once did we swear at her. Purely unacceptable and disgusting young behaviour especially from a so called manager.
Honestly if I could give this place a 0 star rating that’s what it would be but unfortunately I can’t. Management needs to come out undercover or something because this is...
