McDonald's — Restaurant in New South Wales

Terrible service terrible food. Well below the standard expected at McDonald's and that's not very high. Ordered multiple items to feed a family of five. A BTS meal that should include dipping sauce. No sauces included, returned to counter and collected sauces. Also no cutlery for 2 crispy chicken salads. Asked for cutlery. Asked where the coffee was that I ordered, was told it would come from cafe. Went to the cafe counter but no staff visible. There was a coffee sitting on the counter so I called a staff member over and they said it's probably mine, no one else has ordered one, so take that. It was mine, but why did no one call out that it was ready. None of the screens in the store with order ready numbers work. I then opened my crispy chicken salad to find the only salad was lettuce. No tomato or carrot or cabbage as advertised. I took it back and they said they would replace it. After a few minutes they presented a new box and said it should be right now. When I opened the box there was no meat. They said they would sort it. They then brought it back, and they had added chicken, but no bacon. So they took it back again and finally produced a meal with salad, chicken and bacon. The salad was rubbish. My daughterer on a different order had ordered 10 chicken mcbites. The staff handed them to another customer instead of 10 nuggets. The customer returned them after opening and checking the packet. The staff swapped them for the other customer, but handed them to my daughter as fresh food. My daughter ate them before telling me. Not impressed. Spoke to manager on duty who informed me that she had called out my coffee twice, but when no one responded she just left it there. Thanked me for letting her know about problems, but she is just learning. Will pass on to...

Currently sitting here watching the staff, firstly i ordered a burger with no tomato, it had tomato. The people next to me had already sent their fries back because they were cold so luckily ours were fresh. But whilst watching we found out why, none of the staff are rotating the fries, fresh ones just get piled in front of the old ones, been watching for 20 minutes now and the back ones still have not been used. We complained about the tables and dining room being filthy so the manager sent a girl out, who cleaned 2 of the 8 tables i could see that were filthy, and they were still filthy after she wiped them. The drinks taste funny. I would like to point out that in the 40 minutes we have been here they have only had 6 other customers come into the store, we were order 144 and 145....151 is currently on the screen. The whole store is filthy including the play equipment.

I have worked at mcdonalds and this is not how we were trained, if your standing around doing nothing you should be cleaning!!!

We would leave but i refuse to ruin my daughters birthday!!! We wont be back!! Not even worth the 1 star but it wont let me post it...

Called in for a meal & coffee here yesterday at McDonalds East Albury. The cleanliness of the establishment was first class. The food was exceptional & the staff amazingly friendly. Love the Maccas coffee mostly & will always buy from Maccas on my journeys.

However the store at Gundagai was terrible in comparison. The service was so slow, the staff had taken horrible angry pills the night before, so it seemed. Most of the customers waiting were all complaining about the time it took to place an order, but worse still to wait for delivery. I saw two groups of people walk out in disgust!! Sad to see these days. It took 15 minutes to have my order delivered with the hash brown only mildly warm! Won't bother calling in there again, when down this way.Worse display of staff I have ever seen. McDonalds Albury East 9 outa 10 McDonalds Gundagai 1 outa 10 Come on Gundy management teach your staff to be happy & not pull faces after a customer shows their not happy with their order or the attitude of serving staff!! What Gundagai Maccas need is a few mystery customers to pass on surveys on staff performance. Badly needed...
