My daughter had a wonderful night at her 21st. We were so grateful for the wonderful service we had from all the staff we encountered. Fantastic value for money. Terry was very understanding when we organised our food choices only 3 days before the event ( not 1 week - sorry!). Coralie was a huge help advising of our catering needs and stopped us ordering too much. At the end of her shift came to ask if there was anything else she could do. The food was delicious. Callum was totally accommodating, responsive to all my requests and so reassuring to an anxious hostess. I’m sorry I didn’t get all the names of the staff but thank you so much, you were run off your feet and still served us with a smile. Only a couple of tiny things that could be better. There was a bit of traffic through the Stockyard room to the deck earlier and patrons from the deck coming in to order drinks, I’m not sure how the poor staff knew who was meant to be charged or put on our tab. Next time I’d take up the offer of wrist bands. Even tinier - I should have asked to cut up only half the cake. We took home a lot of cut up cake. My mistake. Had my sons birthday dinner here with the fam, what a great pub! Really loved the feel to this place, we had a wonderful time and the service was fantastic, I must say the food was exceptional, I ordered the black steak with Tabasco butter abd the steak was sooo tender and cooked perfectly, my 2 sons each ordered chicken parmis and they were enormous although they did forget my older sons salad with it, but he doesn't eat salad anyway so no loss. My mother ordered Barramundi fillet and I must say it was the biggest piece of fish I've ever seen served in a pub anywhere, my missus had the grilled chicken burger and was very satisfied too. Caesar salad was also exceptional. When you order any parmis here you get a free middy beer or soft drink! So was very happy to get a free drink with dinner. Food was perhaps a little slow to arrive but certainly not terrible. The prices here however are amazing, so damn cheap compared to other places. Value for money it definitely their biggest draw card I think. 5 stars...

We visited this established on tuesday night, after coming to Albury to see family. My mother inlaw ran the pub 65yrs ago. We were keen to see the refurbished establishment. They have done a great job in refurbishing unfortunately the service was terrible. The man behind the main bar was very friendly and welcoming, not so the dining room. We order our meals which came out promptly and were huge!! Unfortunately the side of bernaise was freezing cold. When we took this back to the very tall young man on shift, he took it straight off me and went in the kitchen. He then came back out empty handed and when I asked was he heating the sauce up? He replied "oh I didn't realise you wanted it heated up"? I then sat back down awaiting the sauce. He avoided all eye contact and we did not see any sauce or him for any further service. The lady working with him was running around clearing tables, serving and basically covering his shift. I hope this is a one off as could be a really great...
