if you’re thinking about going for dinner, I highly suggest that you don’t. My partner and I got seated in the back part of the restaurant which is actually a second room. It was a cold and empty space and actually felt like the reject room if I’m honest. There was no warm, historical ambiance to it at all. We were so lucky to be seated next to a table with parents who allowed their children to take laps around our table, scream and go play the piano. Really adding a special touch to what was supposed to be a birthday celebration dinner. We were just about to leave until our food arrived. I had really high hopes for the food. The boyfriend enjoyed his pizza, our chips were good and my lasagne was cold in the middle. I just didn’t want to ask for it to be reheated because I didn’t want to wait anymore- we just wanted to get out off there. The staff are beautiful, super nice and they alone made the place. I just wish they asked the parents to settle their kids, considering it is supposed to be a nice restaurant. Overall it ruined our last dinner in the blue mountains. I do have to mention that the man behind the bar is an absolute gem. He deserves a pay rise.

Me and partner had a great time at Niccolo’s we are visiting the Blue Mountains from Melbourne. We were a walk-in and the staff were incredibly accommodating, seating us in the window seat. The dining room was super cute and cosy! With an intimate feeling! Food was super tasty, we had the beef brisket and lamb shanks as well as the rhubarb and apple crumble! Would recommend! Staff were super attentive and love that the hotel is providing opportunities for young people!

Great experience with fantastic setting. Open fireplace, old building, cosy. Staff lovely. Food really great tasting but just had little imperfections.

This Italian restaurant is truly something special. It’s run by a team of friendly, passionate staff—many of whom are disabled—and their warmth and dedication shine through in every part of the experience.

The service was genuine and welcoming, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere from the start. The food was exceptional—classic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients and real care. Every bite felt like a taste of Italy. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal.

It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a place that celebrates inclusion, community, and great food. A beautiful reminder that kindness and talent come in all forms. I’ll absolutely...

Oh. My. Goodness.

LOVED this restaurant. The food was delicious, but what I loved most was the incredibly friendly and competent waitstaff. From our table we could overhear the chef encouraging the staff and congratulating them on plating up beautiful food. The presentation was fantastic when it arrived at our table. Food arrived in a timely manner and staff were the perfect level of attentive. A+ for meaningful inclusion too.

The ambiance was also incredible. A beautiful old building that seems lovingly maintained.

Could not recommend this place...
