Phat Chicken Wyoming — Restaurant in New South Wales

For the most part, this store is very good. Their chicken meals and salads are tasty and affordable, and you don't often wait much more than 5 minutes to be served. But there are a couple of glaring issues that tend to come up each time i go, that keep me from rating this place 5 stars

It is often difficult to notice when your order is being called, especially at busy times like lunch and dinner. The register is tucked away in the corner, and there is often 5 or more people standing around, waiting for their food. The employees are also often quiet, meaning you have to keep close attention to hear them call your order over the loud kitchen and customers. I believe this would be improved exponentially if they provided an order number, spoke up, and provided some more seating space so that the floor doesnt get so crowded.

Most of the salads taste fine (avoid the seafood salad, unless you want to feel sick for the rest of the day), however, they tend to boast more variety than what you actually get. The caesar and seafood salads are great examples, that show lots of variety in terms of greens and meats, but end up being very overloaded with one ingredient. You will see plenty of egg in the window, but your caesar will often have very little egg. And while there are prawns and greens aplenty in the seafood salad, you will likely only get fish chunks. The salads would be much better if you recieved the variety that they boast, perhaps with separate tubs of ingredients to create the salad...

Would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered our lunch through menulog for delivery at 12pm, we ordered this in advance at 1015 to make sure our lunch arrived on time as we work at the hospital and take our lunch breaks at certain times...we had a notification that our delivery was on its way at 1030!!! when we called the shop they said there's nothing they can do and that was that....So we all had to eat our burgers at 1030 in the morning right after we had eaten our breakfast...POOR FORM. This was YOUR mistake, not OURS. If you're going to make ordering in advance an option - do it PROPERLY. Not to mention they charge $6 for gravy!!!! and $2.50 for a rasher of bacon...Seriously disgraceful. Won't be ordering again from Phat...

Alright alright I’ve had food here a couple times and it use to be so good but this is the second time I’ve had it that something’s off. This time it’s the pork and I didn’t even get pork crackling (I’ve had a rough day so this part kinda pissed me off take this how you will future customer seeing this) the pork tasted so different it has a tang to it (could be the gravy) but the food use to be so good. My mood went from a shitty day to excited about my pork crackle seeing all the pork crackle in the window and getting excited to absolutely pissed off when I got home to see none. Maybe he’s because I asked for no baked potatoes and pees and just for the veg maybe it sounded like I’m tryna be healthy but nonetheless...
