Pool Bar at Bannisters — Restaurant in New South Wales

Visited here for a weekend away. Called up and lady on the phone said in order to use the pool bar we need to make a booking. Made a booking and used lounges by the pool, paid for drinks etc. No one checked in on us or asked us any questions about our booking until about an hour later where we were essentially kicked out. They told us pool and deck lounge area is only to be used by hotel guests, and we said on the phone they told us we were allowed to use pool so long as we made a booking to which he replied with “that would literally be impossible”. Terrible service/business by this particular man, as we were paying customers and specifically told on the phone we could use the pool as long as we had a booking. He didn’t apologise on his staffs behalf or even offer us to stay at the hotel. Simply told us to leave. Wouldn’t come back which is a shame seeing as the pool was lovely and other staff members had...

Beautifuly set out infinity pool with protection from the southerly wind a relaxing view out to Jervis Bay and conjola headlands.if you happen to need to cool down this summer and get away from it all there are towels provided if you would like a swim ,or you could nestle away with a group of people in the private lounge or the traditional tall table and chair for two with front and centre view or option of deck chairs if an afternoon lay down and a cocktail by the pool is you thing its got it all .The bar staff were super efficient thankyou, drinks were fabulous. Original cocktails and very refreshing.

I stumbled across this walking the head land and only had a drink and relaxed and took on theexperience.I will endeavour to have a meal or take the time to try the sliders...

Although the restaurant and bar are appealing to the eyes the service we received was quite disappointing. The waiter had a negative attitude and didn’t show much sympathy when our orders where missed and mixed up. We received two different menus, one of which showed drinks that they no longer stocked and it was only after we ordered that we where notified the beverages where no longer available. Our entree’s came out smoothly but we received our main dishes over an hour after we finished. To top it all off one of our pizzas was missed and we had to wait another 20-30 minutes for it to arrive. But I’ll leave it on a positive note saying the food and drinks tasted wonderful with the chef being flexible and whipping up a delicious vegan pizza...
