The Caspian Davistown Central Coast — Restaurant in New South Wales

We ordered from here last night. What absolutely delicious food. We each got the BBQ Plate, and it was just fantastic. All the meats were so tasty and fresh and perfectly seasoned. Breads included. The homus and tabuli were exceptionally good. Also, the pickle, which I'd not tried before, was devine. We live a little away from the restaurant, so we got takeaway delivered but would love to come in dine here. Honestly, I could not fault the food. My plate of food disappeared very quickly! Yum! It's very refreshing to find a local restaurant delivering this level of food quality. Have to give these guys an 11/10! They even threw in some Easter eggs, which was such a lovely and kind touch, given its not a traditional holiday from where this beautiful food originates. It's so thoughtful. My little 4 year old boy thanks you for the wonderful meal and the chocolates. We will certainly be recommending you and ordering again and hopefully come into the store in the near...

We had a beautiful dinner here with friends tonight. The amazing chef Lana went out of her way to share her love through her delicious food. Lana made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond by catering for our vegan diet, with many dishes that were not on the menu. Her generosity and kindness with dishes from her heart brought us so much joy. Thank you Lana for a wonderful night. You are a beautiful lady. And thank you too Donia, you are an exceptional host and also made us feel so welcome and so well looked after.

We had the garlic roasted potatoes, babaganoush, tabouli, all from the menu, and each dish was fantastic. We also had the tahini roasted cauliflower, which is an absolute hit, as was the Mujadara.

Food was beautiful. Great location (not a local). Staff was young, Friendly and hard workers. A little tip…. Ensure your wait staff can answer any question re menu. Clean plates after each course and serving tongs for shared plates would be good. I’d Suggest a front of house ‘overseer’ would be helpful. They could just keep an eye out to check that everyone is being attended.etc. (E.g. our bread came and the wait for accompanying dip was at least 10 minutes.) Water and water glasses per table should be a given. Neither were offered. Offering a glass to pour your beer would also be good All little things, but I think this could make this venue 5 star… Please take this as a positive critique because the venue and food is wonderful… I’d love you...
