The little teapot is a quaint little place - a house and yard converted into a cafe with indoor and outoor seating. Service was fast and friendly.

Do why 3 stars? It's because of the food it's not bad by any means but its very homely. You know when you are at home and you grab a couple of slices of toast and fry up two eggs or use the old shake and bake pancake mix. That's what they serve.

The coast has some great cafes with qualified chefs creating new and interesting takes on breakfast classics or at the very least serving high quality meals made from local ingredients. The little teapot feels like a relic from 20 years ago when truck stop 'cafe' food was the benchmark.

We ordered two fried eggs and toast with a hashbrown. The toast was not a locally sourced thick cut piece of sourdough like you'd expect but slices of plain white bread. The hashbrown the same frozen ones we can buy from Coles. The pancakes we ordered were served on a bare plate with two wrinkly pancakes and a tub of maple syrup. A divorced dad making his kids pancakes with an Aldi shake n bake would do just as well. Bacon and egg roll was no better or worse than you'd expect at the canteen at your local school fundraiser. Served up on a bare plate. No relish or garnish.

When we go out for a cafe breakfast I don't want pay a premium for food I could make at home. The coast has so many great cafes serving great quality and creative food. The little teapot is...

Nestled in a charming corner adorned with delightful antiques, The Little Teapot exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxing morning. The decor, filled with vintage treasures, adds a whimsical touch to the space, making it a joy to explore.

The service at The Little Teapot was exemplary, with friendly staff who made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped in. While the main meals we ordered were somewhat average in taste and presentation, the true highlights were the tea and cakes. The cakes, in particular, were a delight – they were the perfect accompaniment to our tea.

They have a great courtyard and happy to report that it is dog-friendly - they also have a great range of dog treats!

Overall, The Little Teapot is a delightful spot for those seeking a quaint ambiance, excellent tea, and delicious cakes. I will...

I was very much looking forward to visiting this lovely little Café for the first time as I had seen many positive reviews about it. I live at the other end of the Coast and needed to make a trip down this way recently and finally had the opportunity to stop in for a lunch with my husband. The whole experience was just a treat. The staff were really beautiful and we loved the old world charm of the place. I was particularly impressed that we were able to order a fresh, healthy sandwich from the Menu, which I find most Cafes do not offer these days. I also picked up some homemade doggy treats for our 3 boys whilst there. We will be back as I would love to try their homemade scones and delicious...

We looked up on Google to find where the best Devonshire teas were and The Little Teapot came up on our search. The Devonshire Tea was excellent and they also do high tea and the decor was very nostalgic and very enjoyable. The service was excellent and we had a bit of a chin wag with the owner about the history of the area. It's great for cyclists and the ferry is not more than one and a half minutes walk from the cafe. We did find that the new owner of one year had mentioned that she can't remove the reviews of the previous owner which didn't reflect well for the previous owner, but I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This coffee shop is a real gem whether you drive ,walk or ride your bike and in any season it’s welcoming . The food is satisfying and the staff especially the owner Helen is lovely to talk to ,being a local for over 40 years. We ride around the area regularly and always finish here with a coffee and toastie and sit out the back in the sunshine where we can enjoy the quirkiness of Helen’s outdoor decorating but still are able to watch over our bikes in Helen’s thoughtfully provided bike racks. We thoroughly recommend Helen’s ‘ The Little Teapot ‘ to you .Geoffrey and Karen.
