The Shellharbour Club — Restaurant in New South Wales

Well I was mostly disappointed but not being able to gain entry into the place but hey new laws I haven't been to a club in 6 years that's right I haven't been out in 6 years first time out in 6 years and what I get police brutality staff who is generally do not give a hoot and well about anybody and whoever the reason why I know this I went up to the front door after being refused entry big mistake I was trying to help young girl who got very drunk my girlfriend said I should go and get her some water so I tried unfortunately this time when I went to the door the police were there which I thought would make this very easy no no no wrong it made it impossible I asked them for help and all they could do was give me a whole lot of crap about a poor girl being drunk and disorderly who needed help and all they could give me was f off stop wasting our f and time after stuff inside then so I did within 2 minutes they entered the property and said is this man harassing using any way shape or form and then I am then escorted out of the place quite rudely with my arms hurting now and both arms behind my back as I am not refusing to go with them and also refusing to do anything they asked it set for sit down cause I'd hurt my knees earlier that week and couldn't bend them properly and thank god my girlfriend came up at the time as well or otherwise they could have got even worse considering there was 6 or 8 men surrounding me and harassing me all police and when I ring the club in the morning to try and find help in this regard after I got a fine of $550 may I add nope no help they don't care money money money money money that's all they care about not the people to come to the clubs not wear their Club came from them soon and how that got there for the people that live around here no no no so I'll let you people know right now this is a club do doesn't care for anybody but themselves meaning the shareholders on Money People otherwise I'm sure that they would care to ask my questions especially when I said I had problems of reading and writing and have problems with being able to submit what they need and she said I'll help you and then...

I have been coming here for years with my family as a tradition after NYE however, I will never step foot into this place again. This is the only review you need to read… 1. The food was terrible and came out in orders that made no sense. Some Medium rare steaks were overcooked (photos attached as evidence - both are meant to be medium rare). 2. The workers are the RUDEST I have ever experienced. Condescending and just outright disrespectful… from the reception to the lady in the FiftySix food area serving our food… attitude and condescending tones seem to be okay with management but NOT WITH US….3. The food was over an hour wait and there wasn’t nearly enough people for that to make sense..

If the service wasn’t so disgusting, I wouldn’t have even mentioned the terrible food because this place was special to us.. however this is no longer the case and seeing the more recent reviews, it seems like many people agree the quality of this place as gone down. Sucks to see.

If I could give them a 0 star rating, I honestly would. I don’t want to say it’s racism but the reviews are giving that vibe based on the types of names complaining about how they are treated…...

Went to Shelly's at Shellharbour on Saturday for a early father's day with my daughter and wife. We went to seating area and went through the menu's. I had the rump chips and salad the wife ordered battered fish chips and salad. The daughter ordered chicken schnitzel chips and salad. So we were sitting right in front where meals were being prepared. Time goes by and one of the girls was at the area where the meals were put up under the heating lamps and wipe her nose with her hand. So I said the wife did you see that and she said no. So a couple of minutes go by the girl is still up at the pick up area and she did it again. Ran the back of her hand and wiped her nose again. Could not believe this and none of the girls are wearing gloves. We get our meals and the salad consisting of five leaves of lettuce there abouts half of a cherry tomato two slices of cucumber and that's it. All three of us. How do you call that a salad. I will say that the rump was very tender and the wife's fish was very nice but the Chicken schnitzel wasn't the best. I think I will be going some where else next time and support my local...
