The View — Restaurant in New South Wales

Food was lovely, but the service and organisation was abysmal. We had a 12pm booking and was greeted by an extremely long line when we got there that was to just sign into the club itself... that’s fine, we were happy to be patient... then there was the massive line to order our meals... meals took more than average times to arrive which again was really not a problem... but it was when we were almost finished our food (after waiting an hour from arriving to actually get) we were disgustingly told we had to go right now, by the female staff member with short hair, because people were waiting for our table. No warning, my mother actually had a buffalo wing in her mouth when they took the plates from under her... my brother went and politely told her how disgusted he was about her lack of customer service and she just told him we only had an hour and it’s not her fault. Yes we only had an hour... but when your establishment are not organised enough to give us ample time to complete our meal... it is indeed your fault as a member of staff. Will not be returning to the view by choice any time soon on that poor example of customer service alone . It was a shame our Mother’s Day was...

absolutely terrible service!!! very rude did not see the waitresses crack the slightest smile. ordered (over priced) chicken, salad and chips. i recieved my chicken raw inside and burnt chips. i returned and politely asked to be cooked longer. i did not recieve any sort of apology i did recieve a fowl look though. i recieved the same piece of chicken again and was still pink inside. i ate my salad and because of the rude service let them know politely on the way out it was still not cooked. and the waitresses tried to gang up and rudely tell me it was cooked and i was wrong. and when i left they went over to the chefs and were rudely pointing and fowl looking at me through the windows. since eating here i have heard other bad reviews of uncooked and rude staff. if i had known this before i would not have wasted my...

Decided to try again as there is new chefs. That was first mistake. Lady taking orders was not very welcoming. Chefs were very laid back. Food arrived in bits and drabs. One person needing to enquire twice about their meal coming. Got told it’s coming there’s lots of orders. Mind you we ordered at same time and at the point of ordering were the second table there. Meal came out when everyone had finished their meals at table. One meal come out was wrong steak but chef still tried to make the lady have it. Wasn’t very nice when told she wanted what she ordered.
