Bakers Delight Waratah — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Honestly I'm just dumb founded. A week ago I asked for 2 burger buns and a custard lattice. I pointed out that the custard lattice in the front had a fly on it. So the girl proceeded to take that particular lattice, flick the fly off and give me that lattice. 😂 I was so shocked I didn't say anything. I just walked away with my partner. When I got back to the car I noticed that the 2 burger buns were rock solid stale. We left and went to our regular bakery, farrar and sons at mayfield (why i didn't go there first i don't know) We threw everything from Bakers delight in the bin. I made a complaint via the website, my reply was just as shocking. They apologised for the fly on my custard lattice. Which is not what I was complaining about. More training for staff is needed. Maybe get them to put away thier phones and maybe have some mature...

I love the bread and rolls but theyre not worth a dollar each and especially things like the cream buns cause they are just ridiculous..the past 3 of them I've bought I've had to throw away half of it because they're dry and virtually no cream filling in them at all and what really annoys is they run the cream across the top in a line that looks thick intil you open it and its empty and tbh I'm done with wasting my money on it hey..for the expense for these tiny little things it's not worth it..I'll go too an actual bakery and get a...

Great friendly service, fresh affordable produce, helpful will heat pizza or rolls if asked. Great aroma when bread has been cooked first thing in the morning.
