Pineapple juice my partner got was 2 years out of date. The instructions for how we wanted the eggs cooked was explained 5 times and was completely ignored. The hash browns were undercooked, the sausages were of low quality, the bacon wasn't even that appealing. The portion size was good, but considering it wasnt very eatible it didn't really matter. The coffee was actually strong and hot, the chai powder was very harsh. Service was quick and atmosphere was good. It seemed to have a lot of patronage so it is obviously popular. Even though the cafe was bad, the shop at mortels is actually very good and I highly recommend them. Customer service is 2nd to none, they are a family run business and prices are very reasonable. Quality merchandise and couldn't help you enough. I will definitely be back but grab breakfast somewhere...

We very much enjoy having breakfast or lunch at the Cafe. The food is always fresh. On Saturday we went to the cafe for lunch as there were a number of us celebrating a friends birthday from Berry Park over 55s. We booked for 12-30 lunch. Some of us were still eating our lunch when reminded about closing time. We were disappointed to be reminded we close at 2. It was only 1-30 and only had to have our birthday cake. Felt very rushed. I asked one of the young ladies at 1-30 if it was possible to order a plain chicken snitzel on a bun and I choc milk shake to take away and told probably too late. So my husband went in and asked and ordered it and someone else served him and it wasn’t a problem. I know there in a hurry to go home but...
