KFC Mayfield — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

Attended my local mayfield KFC outlet Sunday 6/8/2017 at around 1.15 pm ordered a dipping bucket which I received eventually , initially I was served by a young man whom simply enquired, what do you want, after I got past that I oredered the dipping bucket and low and behold no dipping sauces at all just gravy, I love seeing young people employed,but they must be trained and reminded that no matter how they feel on the day they must remain polite when addressing a member of the public , no rolling eyes, shoulder shrugs etc this outlet I have visited possibly thousands of times over the years and on average , provided I don't check the order at the window, if I simply take home what I'm given three out of five times it will be incorrect, what I do like is when the KFC employee tells me what they are handing me without me having to prompt them. 31/10/2024 went through the drive thru at approximately 8pm ordered multiple items and thankfully, the order was perfect, it...

It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered from this KFC due to the quality of the food on my last visit, I haven’t been in a hurry to come back. Unfortunately, it seems nothing has changed. Firstly, I ordered through drive-through so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. The service was very good, the young staff were well spoken and friendly when handling and taking my order. Unfortunately, however, once I received the order it was clear that the food was well below par. I ordered two zinger boxes. The chips were soggy, with little to no salt. The burgers were ‘ok’ and passable but the meal didn’t come with wicked wings, instead some form of tenders but no bigger than an inch in length and dull flavour, nothing was said about the wings needing a substitute otherwise I probably would have ordered something else. Just ordered KFC from Mayfield on my way home. Got a few different things, and not one was edible. The chips were both burnt and undercooked at the same time if that's even possible. Chicken burger was a burnt shrivelled up piece of something resembling shoe leather that my teeth couldn't even cut through and the tenders were also burnt to a crisp as was the one piece of fried chicken in my order. They weren't just dark brown, they tasted of burnt and the chicken had become stringy and inedible. Spent $30 on something I cannot eat. Usually while annoying this never really bothers me too much but this was just overall incredibly bad. To have completely ruined all this different food is surely a talent, but to actually dish up what was obviously burnt and not fit for consumption is criminal.
