Set in a modest venue with a team of talented cusinaries, the team here have taken the concept of Casual Tapas and made it their own. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon 8pm and lucked out with the wait staff finding a cosy table available for our party of two. The menu is short yet enticing so we treated ourselves and ordered almost one of everything available that evening. Needless to say, each dish was a home run for us. We chased them with a couple of very reasonably priced drinks. The servers were genuine and friendly and really took the dining experience up a notch. Ordered the banquet because 'you can try everything and then have more of what you'd like - it's basically all you can eat; we will look after you'. Placed our order for a few extras after the initial tasting and after a long wait, enquired about the food and were told the chef had gone home. Extremely disappointing for almost $400. Had really looked forward to visiting Roy's at 45 but won't be back even though the food was great.
