Best coffee and toastie in Newcastle. Made with very good sour dough toast. And the green drink is as tasty as it is healthy. I’ve been coming here for years. Always come back because let’s face it, there is hardship here in Newcastle. Every day we are faced with the threat of a bad cafe experience. A good day can turn to disaster with a bad coffee, and satisfaction levels can plummet with unmet toasty expectations. Okay, so when it comes to coffee and toasty maybe it’s better to be not invested in the outcome. Then you can keep your equanimity even during and after a bad coffee. Such a cool little spot. Coffee was very nice, super nutty undertones and very palatable. Toasties were super fresh and tasty, we bought and assortment the Hawaiian, Meatball and Egg and bacon, plus a few for the kids. No complaints at all, they were polishes off seamlessly, notable mention to the delicious ham they use. Service was negligible, fair it's NYE and everyone is tired, no-one really wants to be at work but didn't feel like we were overly welcome. Long time customer, last order EVER today! Order from Perry's and, had the order messed up by doordash. However upon inspecting this also, noted store had missed a toastie. Rang Perry's. Firstly the girl/lady answering laughed at the situation with the driver, noting their own speculations of what they expected to occur! Perhaps refuse the driver the pick up then!
