It was our first time driving to & from Adelaide via Melbourne, so we stopped here on the way back home as we were feeling hungry. Service is very friendly & accommodating run by a nice family. The road house was clean, with tables to sit at & eat your meal.
We both ordered the Vindaloo curry with rice & it was seriously one of the best curries we have eaten. It is not hot (chilli wise), but if you want it hot, the staff are happy to help & provided us with more chilli. The servings are also quite large, so don't worry if you are hungry, you'll feel satisfied.
The menu is quite extensive & we will be stopping here in the future when we travel to Adelaide. Don't forget to pick up a few packets of the Indian snacks on your way...
   Read moreWe discovered this gem on our last trip and it was our lunch stop this time again. Beef schnitzel was huge with a good serving of perfectly cooked chips and gravy. I had the salt and pepper squid, chips and salad and it did not disappoint either. We made sure we bought takeaway Indian dishes for tea later and they were some of the best Indian dishes we have had. I had butter chicken and my partner had beef vindaloo, both with rice. Both dishes were tender and moorish. The owners were friendly and service was quick considering everything is made done from scratch....
   Read moreStayed at Nhill over the Easter break and the highlight of our trip was BP Nhill- amazing food, friendly service and the loveliest people we have ever met. I wish they were located closer to Melbourne, we would have their delicious home cooked food any time! Highly recommend stopping by even if it's for a pizza or an Indian meal.
