This would be the go-to CafĂ© in town! A modern take on the historical township of Burnt Pine shopping precinct of Norfolk Island. Great vibe, tasteful and in-theme decor, good, quick and effective service (tell them your table number when ordering). Most food up-to-spec (toast (sour-dough bread) on the Avo Smash not really toasted and I felt this would have enhanced the dish), coconut slice and bit dry (may have been on display a little long), however the Poppy Cake was moist and and delicious. Wraps were tasty and coffee’s good, considering all using UHT milks (no fresh milk available on the island) Free WiFi - Tick Easy to Park - Tick Plenty of and a variety of seating options - Tick Self-serve Water, Cutlery & Serviettes - Tick If you’re visiting (or a local - but they would already know this) - well worth the visit (and re-visit). Highly recommended.

We try the beef burger and it was nice, has beetroot, onions with Bbq sauce, cheese, some lettuce, the taste is very unique due to the ingredients but worth to try. It feels light but at the same time heavy, so that’s quite awesome tho! One bad let of fries it’s plenty for two persons to share, however the aioli taste very simple.

Top of my list for friendly service & really good food with enticing daily lunch specials. Extensive seating options: inside, verandah & Al fresco. Wonderful to have quality sugar-free soft drinks on offer. Surrounded by good shops off main street on beautiful Norfolk Island.

Disappointing. Venue unclean and breakfast is served cold ( eggs & toast). They have an arrangement with tour/holiday companies, though lack enough staff to prepare meals in the short window of time provided, so when something is wrong ie, the foods cold, or you are served the wrong meal, there's just no time to send it back to the kitchen. Photos of meals on the internet look nothing like what's being served, perhaps the venue's changed hands since Photos online were taken? The major concern is that the venue is in need of a good deep clean. Staff were friendly enough though, which is why I am reluctant to offend them, because it's a management issue, not staffs fault that they can't prepare 30 + meals in the space of 30 minute's and they be at the correct temperature and look presentable.

New dishwasher required, ...

Nice food, fresh and tasty. Iced latte and ice chocolate house made drinks made with room temp milk - not uht milk from fridge. Long life milk a part of island life but should be refrigerated for making cold drinks. One floor staff incredibly rude, almost pushing is off table and telling us to leave. We were not told at 1:00pm when ordering food that cafe closes at 2pm. Food served at 1:28 along with 3 other tables (separate to our group of 4). Waitress extremely rude, enough for me to speak with owner. Owner understandably apologetic and apparently doesn't stand for staff insolence - said staff member walking past repeatedly grinning/laughing when I spoke with owner. Despite tasty food I will not return...
