avoid this place at all cost! they're in the business of ripping people off and sadly those who are least fortunate. I paid $10 note for my lumpia x2 (mini meat spring rolls if that's what they're called) which came to $6. the lady handed me the food then casually walked away and stood at the opposite side of the bench (it wasn't busy I was the only customer). I thought maybe she was doing something so I proceeded to zip up my bag and put my food in the trolley so that my hands were free. I finished all this and noticed she was still just standing in the same corner doing nothing I then said excuse me to which she gave me that look as if to say, yes can I help. I then realized what was going on and said, my change! in an obvious way. but before i could even finish my sentence she suddenly had springs in her step as if she'd magically remembered I was still waiting and again, magically pulled out my $4 change from the till like she knew what she'd done. no questions asked, no need to jog her memory, no eye contact, nothing. for someone who seemingly forgot I was there or that I was owed any change she seemed to know exactly what I needed and how much. she then hands it to me and quickly walks away with her back towards me acting like she's all of a sudden busy rearranging the stock. what disgusting behavior! and to think if this is how the staff are I can only imagine where it comes from (the head)! I use to think highly of this place and the friendly staff but their fake charismatic act is up! I won't be back and l will be telling everyone. it's common knowledge that the indigenous unfortunately get ripped off a lot in dodgy businesses because of their lack of education. this business is one of those dodgy businesses taking the less fortunate for a ride! what, because I'm a person of colour and I was dressed down (cause I was running errands) she thought she could pull one on me and I wouldn't know it. pppft you should be ashamed! good luck with that ugly karma...

Food is cheap, but I guess, you get what you pay for. The customer service is worse; I had two consecutive bad experiences at this place, which makes me NOT want to go back again.
My first bad experience was when I placed a phone order for pick-up and only ordered Arozcaldo. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, they also charged me for sisig. I ended up spending more than I had planned for dinner.
I let it pass because mistakes happen, and it’s really hard to take phone orders. But the next day, I returned for a big breakfast with my partner and nephew and encountered not-so-welcoming customer service. I ordered three big breakfasts, but the staff member who took our order made us feel her frustration for our order for an unknown reason when we were just enquiring if the Big Breakfast comes with coffee. The staff attitude is not good...
Read moreRecently, I had Nelson and "Fresh Cuisine" cater for my Flag Raising. The guests enjoyed wonderful cold finger food. There was one tray of small wraps, carefully finished in cling wrap for a neat and tidy snack. There were two trays of sandwiches with tasty and varied fillings. Finally, there were two trays of delicious fruit, cut into bite sized pieces. This indeed was a feast. I have to recommend "Fresh Cuisine" with 5 stars. For takeaways and catering, please go no further than "Fresh Cuisine". a locally owned and operated restaurant at Hibiscus...
