Wulagi Indian groceries — Local services in Wulagi

I am new to Darwin just a week old, googled 'Indian grocery store near me' and this store poped up with others so I decided to go and check it out. This store is like a mini mart and has few isles of Indian stuff and few isles of other items as well which can be found in coles or woolies. Interestingly when I got there I found most of the indian items didn't have any price mentioned on them or next to them. I wanted to buy a pack of sweets but there was no price so I looked around and tried to figure out who is working here, once i noticed a worker who was busy doing something in freezer, I waited for him to come out of the freezer to find out the price of the item, well he came out I asked hey how much is this and why there is no price on the items, he mumbled something about stickers and took the item to check the price. Later I picked few packs of snacks (again no price) I wanted to buy some more stuff but did not want to bother the worker again and again asking about the price . I also did not want to pick anything without a price and not buying it after finding the price on the counter. Anyways when I went to the counter to pay for the items I saw another worker and asked him 'why there is no price on the items?' only reason i asked as i wanted to know whats the go having no price ? if this is how they operate or they just dont put price on the items .. whtever it is I wanted to know beacuse I would not go back to a store whr price is not displayed clearly for the item. Surprisingly this guy got all offended me asking this question he pointed towards the other worker and said 'didnt u asked him before , didn't he tell u ?' I was like yes I did but whtever he mumbled i didn't get it so thats y i m asking again coz i dont want to bother u again n again about the price of an item, anyways the way he responded was enough for me to decide not to come back to this store again. Now i will be trying other grocery store next time . Have fun with ur rude customer service Wulagi Indian...

Wow! The shop is much better under the new owner. They are very friendly and hard working. The shop is packed with various items and the prices are competitive.

Old review: Not sure about the customer service style that they have..trying to be a smart alec. It's definitely not a positive experience to collect parcels, felt like getting out of there as soon as I could as they were trying to argue...maybe they were bored and had nothing better to do.

Awesome supermarket the bossman and his wife are amazing, lovely people. 100/10 stars from me always so welcoming to me and allowing me to withdraw cash from the counter instead from the atm which has fees of $3-$4.
