Fresh Point Cafe. Nightcliff — Restaurant in Northern Territory

2 of us visited Fresh Point Nightcliff on New Years Day. Our order was taken 10mins after walking in, which was all good. Our iced matcha and iced chai came, both with cream on, which we didn't know they would have. I had ordered mine with oat milk. The waitress should have informed me that it came with cream, given I had ordered non-dairy milk, as I could have an allergy or be vegan (or just not want cream). We waited 50minutes for our smashed avocado and eggs before we decided to leave. We told the waitress at the door we would pay for our drinks but would be cancelling our food as we had waited long enough. We weren't given an apology or an offer to see how long our food was from coming. The table behind us was served only a couple of minutes after us and they had asked 2 wait staff where their muffins were, after also not receiving them for nearly 50minutes. Yes, it was a busy day, but if somewhere is going to be open on a busy day they need to account for that and put extra staff on or take away some tables so they can keep up. We went to another Cafe nearby and had a beautiful lunch where we were in and out in half the the time (and they were just as busy for the size...

First time trying and it was busy and almost at full capacity when we got here. Expect initial service with some delay if you arrive at this time, but the servers will get to you and take care of you. If you need to ask for something, do so - staff are friendly and very hospitable despite being busy. Just be nice about it.

I had a cappuccino to start with, and they do excellent coffee - it is up to the Australian standard.

I got the strawberry pancakes paired with fresh OJ. First of all, the pancake is a proper meal - two thick, fluffy pancakes served with strawberries, ice cream and maple syrup, and plated incredibly well. Don't get anything else if you don't have a big stomach; you need to enjoy the dish itself. The OJ is refreshing and perfect all day round.

We also tried the pesto chicken pasta. Again, generous servings for what you pay. It was superb; complex flavors on top of the pesto.

Fresh Point Cafe in Nightcliff is one of my favourite spots to relax and enjoy a meal. The food and coffee are consistently excellent, making it a reliable choice every time I visit. One of my personal favorites is their creamy pasta dish, which is always satisfying.

I recently ordered the off the Menu Platter for a birthday party, which serves 10-12 people, and it was a huge hit! The selection included items like the Maple Bacon & Egg Slider Box, the Croissant Box, and an assortment of sandwiches and scones.
