worse experience! went to dinner last night food and drink order was taken quickly. Not many customers were there. Our entree came within 30 mins no complaints there. We waited over an hour for our main course, asked after 30 mins when main was coming was told 4-5 mins. Another 30 mins still no main, place started getting empty, other guest who arrived after us had eaten and gone and others that came in were being served mains. Decided enough was enough, asked for our bill, waiter quickly went to the kitchen and came back and told us that our meal was being plated!! we told her no we dont want it we want the bill, she then went , what we thouht she was bringing the bill , but bought us our meal, we told her we dont want it we want the bill. Chips were soggy and vegies still raw. NO apology given, no free drinks, or discount on meal etc . When we paid we were asked 'how was your night'. So i told them about the dissatisfaction to the young man, manager standing there holding the phone to his ear not talking but was clearly listening, no apology from him or even excuse him self from his phone to assist with our complaint, the young man apologised and stated that he will ensure it will not happen agin, we said yeah it wont happen agin as we wont be back! our food was not worth what we paid on the night and we will not go back, a celebration dinner that was disappointed by the meal and service we got. wont be...

Very disappointed and won't be coming back. We had a farewell dinner for one of our friends tonight. Table was booked for 15 @ 6pm. When we got to the venue we were ushered to two tables much to our disappointment. We asked if tables could be joined together or move the tables elsewhere as we booked as a group but staff said they're unable to do it as it is a very busy night for them. We were then asked if we requested one table??? I was flabbergasted...it was a group booking and we EXPECTED to be seated in 1 table. No mention in the email that we are going to be seated in 2 tables which would had been the descent thing to do. We could have cancelled and booked somewhere if we knew. We were expecting the venue to be packed but tables at the end near the toilet were empty the whole time we were there (2.5 hours). We ordered a small cake for our friend from one of the staff and were told it's going to be sorted which, created confusion to other staff. It seems that communication is not their strong point. My pork belly for entrée was below average, half of it was pure fat with the crackle on the tougher side. My prawn risotto was salty and was not interested with the desert after that. I didn't ask the others about their food because they were seated in the other table. I gave up twisting and turning trying to converse with them half way through dinner. We won't be recommending...

Absolutely beautiful venue with an amazing view of mindil beach. Sunset was incredible. Food unfortunately took 50 minutes to come out after ordering with the restaurant not being overly busy. Our table ordered the steak tenderloin, barramundi, salmon and the lamb rack. No steak knives were brought out for steak or the lamb, which was much to tough to cut with a butter knife. Staff were lovely when we requested steak knives after flagging someone down. Although had to ask twice as they only brought out 1. Barramundi was nice, but lacked portion size with sides. Salmon was dry and the prawns it came with were covered in sauce, but still had the shells on. Making it an incredibly messy feat to attempt to remove the shells. Spoke to staff about this when they asked for feedback and they were very understanding and communicated that this is a regular comment made by customers. The lamb rack was a large portion with decent portion of sides, tasted lovely, lamb was slightly tough, but overall was happy with it. Till a few hours later when I got food poisoning which completely takes away from the whole meal...
