This place makes me understand other reviewers when they complain about not having a zero star option.
The roast of the day was terrible with a shoe leather beef. There really is no view once you're seated. The service was non-existent. No, that's ok, I really didn't need more water. I'll just choke down this meat with spit!
We have had better food on airplanes, in nursing homes and hospitals!
Addition from the reviewer's partner: We took a photo, but because of the nice-looking gravy, the meat looks better than it was. What it was: grey, overcooked, and tough with gristle running through it. The green beans and potatoes looked good, but while the green beans were nicely cooked, they actually tasted bitter. And how can anyone ruin a new potato. Instead of a firm but soft potato, it was strangely gluey inside, with no flavor. My take: If I tried my hardest, I don't think I could make such a bad meal....
Read moreThey have changed the menu and removed all the normal meals and optiins we have come to really enjoy. They have turned into a fancy hi priced venue where you pay a large price for just an item such as a steak and you pay $10 plus per side instead of offering veg or chips and salad.(not a snitty in sight) When we finally decided not to walk out i ordered a steak with salad and chips and my wife ordered an entree of squid and another of fried vegies, along with a wine and pint of mid strengh beer. In the end the nicest thing was the salad that cost me $10, with all else being very average, which fleeced me nearly $130 and nearly $50 more than normal. The meal was sub par and not value for money at all, i recommended they revert before they loose all there regular customers, you know the ones that see them through...
Read moreOn our last night we decided to dine here for the all you can eat buffet for $39.95 It was philippino night so we just went for it after much hesitation. The waitress was kind enough to show us round the restaurant first telling us what everything was. We arrived about 6.45pm. It wasn't very busy at first and we didn't book either for a Friday night. The slow roast pork and crackling was melt in your mouth meat. Chicken Laksa was just delicious. Whole Crab, king prawns, Oysters, salad selection. Coconut +plain Rice, noodles. Beef curry. So much food. Chocolate fountain with tonns of fruit and a mixture of different sweet desserts. Soft drink and coffee included. Couldn't move towards the end if the night so full. So glad we found this place. Look forward to be going back again next time to my...
