Ruby G's Canteen — Restaurant in Northern Territory

EDITED TO ADD: Don't even read my review, just read the response from the owner and the personal attacks that were totally uncalled for in any sense. You'll have a sense of how you'll be valued. And the drink was not empty, the owner could not have possibly known whether it was or not because he was nowhere near my table. At this point he's just making stuff up to attack me personally thinking it makes him look good.

I just dropped in here at about 2:00 pm as I was walking down the street and felt like having a drink. I had an espresso martini which was okay. I was warned right away that there was no food available from the kitchen. About 10 to 15 minutes in some guy started mopping around my feet which I'm grateful that he didn't ask me to lift my feet but it was kind of annoying. A few minutes later, a waitress came up and said "are you finished with this drink" that I clearly was not finished with? I got the feeling she was sending me a message: time to go now. So I finished my drink and then went to leave and I was told that the front door was closed, I'd have to go out the back door into an alleyway. Just not a very welcoming environment. When I mentioned this to the man who seem to be in charge, I don't even know what he said, but he just brushed me off.

Whoever wrote the reply to this review does not understand because he wasn't there when I went in but I was not made aware that they close at 2:00 p.m. they weren't doing me a favour by giving me a drink. The only thing that young lady said was the kitchen was closed so I...

Ruby Gs can't afford to provide access to wifi to its customers, even though it is visible that it has access to #wifi. Has Ruby Gs turned into a nightclub? Loud music from kitchen at top competing modern calm loud music from serving area. Conflicting loud noises makes this place enjoyable. Food is good but quite options available.
