Pho Bistro & Grill — Restaurant in Northern Territory

Darwin is very spoilt for good Viet options and this is no exception. Friendly service with a smile that will bring your food to you, even if you are having takeout. Quick lunch so ordered the crispy roast pork banh mi, and it was absolutely excellent, the only downside is they forgot to ask about whether I wanted chilli and coriander, but of course I wanted them! Their buns are softer and fluffier than most but still the right amount of crispness outside. Excellent size for the price, good spread of pate and balance in the ingredients. No one does pickled radish up here on their banh mi so would love to see that. I live close by so this is my new favourite banh mi. Big bites in Millner is also great as is Three mums in the city, but this place is just as good, will be back to try...

I’m sorry I changed this review from top to bottom, but I have to. They lost their initial resolution! We’ve visited this place often since it just opened, and it was one of our favorite restaurants. However, after only 3-4months, they seemed to have lost their original intention. The staff who were from the beginning became very arrogant. Also, we ordered extra noodle for Pho but the quantity seems to be regular size. I asked the staff to confirm, but they just bluntly said yes. The noodle was overcooked. I wanted extra noodles, not to overcook. The texture of the meat also seems to have changed quite a bit. The softness is gone. We were very disappointed… We recommended this place to around us, but now we will look for another...

We were a group of eight people (including two children and a pregnant woman) and had to sit at a dirty table with leftover food and dishes from previous customers that had not been cleared — even though the restaurant was quite empty at the time. After waiting for a long time, no one came to clean the table, so we had to clear the trash ourselves and move the dishes to a nearby small table. The owner saw us doing this but, instead of apologizing for the situation, seemed very annoyed with us. Eventually, a staff member came to clear the table, but he didn’t clean everything and didn’t wipe the table surface. This was the worst experience I’ve had in three years of using this...
