Australian Hotel — Restaurant in Nyngan

Had dinner here with my boys, a lovely looking country pub, first impressions were great, a very nice bar, bistro and dining room adjoining, food orders were from the dining room rather than the bar like most places, I ordered the Scotch fillet with salad and it was cooked perfectly to my doneness, my boys had the Beef and Cheese burger and chips and the Hawaiian parmi, both very good too. I was very impressed by the number of options available as a side dish, you could have Veges, salad, chips, mash, veges and chips, veges and mash, salad and chips or mash and chips. Most places wouldn't give you that much choice. Overall a fantastic experience, definitely recommend...

Bombed in Sunday afternoon on the way through town looking for a quick meal. Bistro was only doing pizzas coz ...well it's a country town on a Sunday afternoon, whadda you expect! ☺️ Ordered off menu. Margherita pizza with double pepperoni topping on top of the cheese. Crave the crunch. Crappy photo with only 3 slices left yes. The rest was devoured on the drive back to the tourist park. It started off wonderful with one of the best lemon lime and bitters we’ve had. The chicken schnitzel was delicious but my mash potato was stone cold and veggies just warm and cold gravy. I asked to just make me some hot chips but the waitress attempted to heat the veggies up again in microwave, still only just warm. I was a little embarrassed to come back again and said just hot chips. The other meal was schnitzel chips and salad which was fine although it had cold gravy. Pub was good...
