Update Hi Kathryn Mohun, Thanks for your response below and sending an email to my WORK place, complaining me for making a personal review on google. I believe I have a right to make an honest review for the experience I got. I don't think it is against the spirit of the event -?? like you mentioned in the email. However just in case, I removed the event name from my original review, thanks for the warning.

I only make reviews when I received really shocking experiences. The small portion was the minimal problem for me, but very COLD Sticky chicken was not tasty, then SANDY Asian Slow was so hard to chew/swallow. Sorry, but it was a very sad-moment of mine at the night, for my personal dinner break, which I was really looking forward to as always as at the event.

The event itself was great, I thought. It was busy but great atmosphere. I believe locals and visitors were happy with full of tasty foods and drinks.

  • Update end, 6/4/22 *

Sorry, but I was very disappointed with the food I purchased from your stall at an event. I ordered "Sticky Chicken with Local Greens Asian Slow & Cashews". My serving was very small compair to the serving which I saw on a preparation-table at my ordering time. My portion was well under the top of the serving paper bowl with only 5 small COLD sticky chicken pieces. Asian Slow was sandy, so I couldn't finish it.

I would complained if I wasn't working at the night in another local stall. Sadly I cannot recommend your cafe to our guests anymore. The desserts were...

I’ve been to Nile Street Cafe before and usually sit outside, however, since the weather was a bit miserable I sat inside today. Being inside is a much different experience to the peace and quiet you get outside, the feeling is a lot more chaotic. While the waitresses were friendly, the food was yummy (as you can see in the picture) and the service was quick, there were a few downsides to my experience. I very clearly saw and overheard a man who appeared to be a manager reprimanding one of the waitresses at the front counter. While I understand issues need to be addressed, I feel there’s better ways to communicate and customers shouldn’t have to hear or see it. I also overheard other snide comments from this man which honestly cast a negative vibe over the entire experience. Another small issue was my coffee tasted a little bit burnt, however, due to the poor communication I heard, I didn’t feel comfortable raising this at the time. I’ve seen other lower rated reviews responded to in quite a dismissive manner, I hope that this review can be taken as constructive criticism and used as an opportunity to improve future customer...

We had a fantastic experience at Nile Street Café in Orange – a true standout on the local café scene. The menu offers a refreshing break from the usual eggs and bacon, with creative, flavour-packed options that feel both unique and comforting.

There’s plenty of seating both indoors and alfresco, making it a great spot to relax no matter the weather. The coffee was expertly made, smooth and just the right strength.

We both ordered the Coconut, Date & Walnut French Toast with orange, cinnamon roasted rhubarb & apple – and it was absolutely delicious. The dish felt homely and nourishing, with the stewed rhubarb adding a warm, nostalgic touch that was pure comfort food.

If you’re in Orange and looking for something a little different but incredibly satisfying, Nile Street Café is well worth a visit. We’ll...

This warm cafe is tucked away unassummingly in a residential street. The service was warm and personable as one would expect from a good country cafe. However the food menu had some pizzazz added to it, like the tingala prawn with soba noodles. However I felt like a more traditional aussie breakie today and chose the Nile Street big breakfast, accompanied by a double espresso and a detox juice. I really enjoyed the quality ingredients used for my dish while my wife indicated that the soba noodles could have added more chilli. The feedback for the quesadilla was amazing...."best that I have had"
