Steamtown Dineinn — Restaurant in Peterborough

We stopped in here on way back to Adelaide In September. After looking at menu for some time, a man at a table beside us highly recommended the food here, giving us idea's of what to order. He went on to say '" he goes out of his way just to come to this Diner'". He recommended the mash potato. Well I had to order the mash, & he wasn't wrong, best mash I've ever had! Love to know the secret! I had it with butter chicken. Family had hot dogs & pizza. All the meals were outstanding for a small diner in a lovely country town. I would say its a great asset...

Very good size serves of meat and rice, have mango chicken was good, chicken was good. Sauce can do batter... ...lamb j...r... meat is good, sauce ....can do batter rice is good. Place is nice, table may need a bit more cleaning.... if have time, no big deal.

I think I got the wrong end of the stick ordering the schnitzel. It was way overcooked and the taste is not like chicken at all. Maybe they have other better options but it's clear to stay away from their schnitzel if this is what they are offering. 😬
