Ironbark Hill accommodation was our selected choice by one of our friends for a long weekend. There were 6 couples, we were evenly spread out amongst the rooms, 3 sets of bunks which can be pulled apart enabling them to be placed side by side plus 3 queen sizes to boot. The kitchen is of good size, the living area is great with a combustion fire, TV, stero plus DVD/VHS. Plenty of hotwater and we can all use 3 showers simultaneously as they run off separate water tanks with their own pumps. ||||The ducted A/C is a little tired, so is the separate split systems in two of the rooms, they kind of do the job but you need the fire for warmth. The place has a nice deck overlooking the vineyards, the tennis court is great and the pool would be nice in summer. Plenty of things to do nearby and plenty of things to do on the property....||||This place easily accommodated 12 adults, it would easily accommodate a few more if you wanted to squeeze them in. ||||Would I go back? Yes||Would I recommend this place? Certainly||Did I have fun? Yes, sure did!||Anything I didn't like? Yep, I had to come home||||See you next...

The amenities are all superb and the cottage is spacious and clean. There is a well-appointed kitchenette and picture windows at the end of the lounge-room, the bathroom is large with spa-bath and has a shower big enough for 2, the bedroom is large and the bed is very definitely king-size, the front has a covered parking spot and the rear a covered deck with bbq and great views over the dams and vines.||||Our only niggle would be the lack of heat-lamp in the bathroom as winter mornings in the Hunter are very cold.||||We will most certainly come back to the IronBark for...

We were greeted by friendly staff at a beautiful venue with rambling lawns and gorgeous trees and grape vines for the kids to run around on and explore.||||We arrived close to lunch so orders were taken and in no time at all we were presented with a fabulous pizza, ploughmans platter and chips. A beer sampler and pear cider didn’t disappoint either.||||After lunch we popped into the cute little gift and coffee shop at the front and discovered a treasure trove of gorgeous pieces to delight.||||There are clean toilets and lots of parking here too as well as plenty of seating available.||||It also has a function room at the front of...
