Really disappointed with the service and food at San Ti. I made a booking earlier that morning and there were a lot of spots available, got there early and apologised however not many people in the restaurant so figured they could manage… boy was I wrong. The waitress said ok you can be seated but you might have to wait.. ok no problem, can we just get a coffee while we wait. Apparently that was no problem yet the waitress walked away without taking my order. 15 minutes later at the original time of my booking, it starts to get busier and I can see tables have been offered water, not us. I asked for some water and was finally allowed to place my coffee order. I asked about the breakfast special and was asked if I was an in-house guest or not… apparently people not staying at the resort get less food for the special, no mushrooms and no avo. Once the food finally arrives the bacon was like leather, very buffet style as were the hash browns. My son’s food was fine. $6.50 for a tiny almond latte, $5.50 for a tiny glass of apple juice and $5 extra for gluten free bread. I...
Read moreI was a bit dubious to try food here at first because of the reviews but after a long day travelling my partner and I took a punt and tried dinner here. We were pleasantly surprised. Hardly anyone here Monday night, only two other tables. We had 3 tapas style meals to share. The lamb was super tender and had plenty of flavour. The squid was cooked perfectly and had a real good hit of chilli to it. The beef tacos were ok but we think they had a little too much chipotle in there which was a little overpowering. We are staying at the resort too so we’ve been trying coffees (lovely) and the cocktails (great). Wait staff have been...
Read moreSuch a shame that a beautiful location is let down by the lies! The last menu posted on google by San-ti Restaurant shows 5 main menu items that are gluten free, yet when we arrived the menu is completely different and only had two options. I am coeliac and it sucks, I understand that I cannot expect a lot from restaurants unless they specifically state they cater to gluten free. However, NO ONE should be subjected to eating a pizza that tastes like literal cardboard, do not recommend the gluten free base. If that’s all you can do, just dont put it...
