Fernhill Tavern — Restaurant in Port Macquarie

Went there for the pub meal experience as you do. Somebody told us that it was recently refurbished and the atmosphere of the place had, how to put it, had gotten smoother around the edges. Which I guess was true to a minor extent... I definitely would not recommend it to families with kids as there is just nothing here for them. The parents of the year were in attendance on this particular night and brought along their kids scooters so they could play on busy jindalee road!! For kids I suggest you go to the Ferny's sister pub Settlers. Meal was delicious none the less. Excellent...

One of the BEST pubs in Port Macquarie, if not Australia. Very Family friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.The staff are always happy and upbeat. The Fernhill has an old school charm, in saying that it has just had a fit-out and it's flash as. New toilets, new kitchen and new flooring plus the staff are tops and there are plenty of local clubs using this place as a meeting point.
