Absolutely appalling! Chips are cold. Chicken is burnt and the sauces? A whiff of sweet chilli and nothing else. Don’t be fooled by the chicken, it’s that colour from sitting on the 2 pieces of tomato. Complained and the response was disgraceful. They claim the chicken is only cooked for 4 minutes! I’m calling BS on that or the need to change the oil you fry in! Unfortunately we spent $40.80 and are unable to eat the burgers. The chips I will salvage later by reheating in the air fryer. Will never, and I mean NEVER waste my money at James place again. Shame on you for your lack of customer service and support

Edit: replying to your reply You can see a bit of sauce “dribbling down” on ONE burger. On MY burger there is none. There is zero mention of “Southern Fried Chicken” in the burger description. I have attached a photo of actual Southern Fried Chicken for future reference. The Chicken YOU served was burnt. Your refusal to accept any responsibility blows my mind. And you were not courteous. When I was on the phone talking to you I was cut off and told to wait then when I spoke to the cook was told there was nothing wrong. I asked if I could send photos and was rudely interrupted and told to hang up and send them. You said you could see the colour of the sweet chilli sauce and I pointed out the lack of sauce. You simply replied with “Sorry … That is normally we cook All the sauce we put on the burger Sorry” I said that was absolutely appalling and your response was “Please contact doordash if u have complaints 😅 I will double check camera as well” Door dash refunded the burgers because even they saw the issue.

And btw that’s not sause (mayo) on the chicken. It’s break from the bread roll. I have attached a close up...

Wouldn't recommend this place very expensive and the Asian female at the counter had asked her no sauce on the burger and they brought it out with the tomato 🍅 sauce there's limited chips also you can't have different various meals after 4:30pm. didn't offer any cutlery very poor business never again very disappointed. Just to reply back I'm not from Bundaberg just visiting so I wouldn't know the prices but $88 for 4 meals definitely expensive, also I witnessed and heard from member requesting no Tomatoe sauce which you had one job. That night we went to the tavern and we were dinning in all cutlery and serviette's were prepared and staff attended for our order. There was no need to review CCTV wasn't like I was making it up customers are normally always right lol 😂 I don't want to argue going back and forwards this is just my opinion which I will not change my review basically something you need to work on to build your franchise that's please do not be offended you need positive and negative reviews so you can work on it thank you for your service and good luck...

Love the venue, I really like the terrace/balcony. The service staff are great and very informative. Food is a bit bland / average not bad but not that great.

We ordered two items off the menu that had spicy in the title and had the icon of chilli next to it. But unfortunately both items were not spicy at all. Literally no spice whatsoever.

I can understand that most people in Bundaberg can't handle Spice which is fair enough but for the people who enjoy spicy and ordered it but sorry James place did not deliver on the spicy.

I also don't understand why businesses add a 15% public holiday surcharge or even weekend surcharge. If I were the business owner I wouldn't add it even though I would have to pay the staff more.

If the prices stayed the same and people knew it you would get more revenue and less hate for being a surcharge hungry business owner. But hey I probably wouldn't complain if the spicy items actually had...
