I had dinner here on 25/8/23. The food was good but the server's attitude was awful. I arrived without a reservation so I expected to wait. The decor was, to put it mildly, very austere, almost like a donga at a mining camp. I approached an Asian male at the cash register who appeared to be the manager, cashier and server! He didn't acknowledge I was there and ignored me. I didn't know the process as to whether I was served at the table or ordered before seating. After about 10 minutes, he acknowledged my existence. I enquired about whether there was a table available and he could barely speak or understand English. I saw an empty table and asked about it. He didn't reply for several minutes and I think he said it was taken. Two people appeared out of nowhere at the cash register for this table so I guess they reserved it. Finally, I was seated and put in my order. I ordered the cheese pork cutlet and the seafood pancake. After about 30 minutes, the order arrived (a little long for an order IMO). The servings were large and both were very good. I couldn't finish the pancake. I would not recommend ordering an appetizer as it will be too much to eat with the entree. I finished my meal and enquired with the same person about a container for my leftovers. He said the plastic container was one dollar. When I asked why they charged for the container, he became agitated, and from what I could understand from his broken English, he said the government made them charge for the container. I said I was surprised because I hadn't been charged for a takeaway container before. He left and went into the kitchen to speak with someone. He returned and went into a tirade about other restaurants charging for containers. What a gem. Staff so lovely. Nice & clean. I had the Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup & wasn't disappointed. It was truely delicious and a very reasonable serving size. Arriving in Bundaberg from the Gold Coast, I wasn't expecting a world class dining experience. What a lovely surprise I had. The menu was modest yet authentic. Absolute gem of a find in Bundaberg! Great Korean staples and very much had the vibe of a Korean-run eatery. Unfussy and simple set-up, which is great to unwind with friends and colleagues after-work on a Friday. Seafood pajeon was very good and the Korean Fried Chicken I'd say is the best in Bundaberg!
