Alfresco Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

We ordered food and coffee. The chef is obviously untrained or just uninterested and disorganised, when you see him go out of the cafe to buy avocados and eggs for your order, when you have already finished your coffee. Then cooks the eggs and goes to bring them out, but checks the order and realises that he hasn't cooked the mushrooms ordered, so he leaves the plate on the bench and cooks the mushrooms. Hence the eggs were cold, the avocado on toast (the toast was like cardboard). The mushrooms were warm though. There is obviously no shopping done or preparation for the business day here as I then see the waitress buying milk afterwards, as well in the middle of the morning. Someone should teach these people how to run a cafe. Terrible. And the worst was she knew I wasn't happy when I saw my eggs left on the bench getting cold and called her out but then would not come near us or make eye contact with us, just dumped my plate and walked away, no apology. Really good coffee! ……. If you have 45 minutes to wait for it to be made….. for one single coffee…… Every single time I get a coffee here I can’t just walk in and order and be out within 5 minutes like literally every single other cafe in the country. Idk what these guys do to take it 72 years to make a damn long black which is literally coffee and water, no fancy frothed milk or anything. I’ve had enough of the absurd wait times. Coffee was great however I ordered a fan favourite, Egg Benedict with Bacon.

It arrived......... the eggs were so undercooked I t was a runny snotty mess and I couldn't egg them. It was served on an English muffin which was a disappointment for a Cafe located next to woolworths where a loaf of sour dough/ciabbata could have been purchased fresh.
