Barron River Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

I would give 10 STARS if I could :o)) Today was my 5th or 6th time at this pub. 3 months ago I thought I give it a shot and was extremely impressed!!! Meanwhile I took a few friends there and they were all happy and also equally impressed. The staff is super friendly and always smiling, no matter how busy they are. Service is OUTSTANDING and fast. All the meals are fresh and of high quality, yuuuummmm. I would believe that everything (or most) is made in house. I’m very fussy when it comes to quality/ meat especially. The value for money is fabulous and I always end up with a doggie box ;o) I’m hooked and this is now my to- go place when dining out. Thank you very much for an always amazing experience! Keep up...

Had never been to this pub before because we usually always go to the Red Beret. We ordered four main meals. Food came out very quickly but I believe it was because it had been cooked prior and had been left in the warmer for too long. Parmigiana was very crunchy, a bit dry, and much smaller than what we would get at the Red Beret despite costing more. We also ordered 2x beef burgers for the kids. One was nice but the other one was raw in the middle. Fourth dish was the pork belly. It was a very small portion size, and had a too strong aniseed flavour. Can only give the meals a one star when factoring in cost. Disappointing as the atmosphere and service was good. We will never go back...

First time to order through uber eats.I was so tired from work to cook at home but wanted to have a good pub meal and was absolutely disappointed. Ordered grilled fish and chips, kids spaghetti bolognese, Baron mix grill and French parmy. Chips were white as no crisp, 3 pieces of very small fish not grilled but looked like boiled or steamed, the baron mix grill, steak was the size of my 6 yr old fist, 1 thin bacon strip, kids spaghetti bolognese had no flavour and very salty. Only decent meal was the chicken parmy. Paid alot of money and the food quality was very low. Won't be ordering...
