Pepper Box Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

Great cafe, particularly loved the toasties and the salmon tarts. Should have tried more of the menu! Really good location, easy parking on a great little shopping strip that has an excellent mix of shops and services. Very handy (and close) before heading to Cairns Airport (with a service station to fill up your hire care just across the railway tracks). Such friendly and amusing blokes that run it are an added bonus. Highly recommended for its good honest food with reasonable prices....

Sausage rolls and pies.

I try pastries everywhere that I travel and there isn't anywhere in Australia that I'd suggest is better than what you'll get here. Pugh's Pies in Toowoomba, Banjo's in Tasmania or the Inglewood Bakery are in my top 5, but if you're after a pie or sausage roll that's piping hot with a delicious filling and a crunchy pastry, I think you'll be hard pressed to find one better anywhere else in Australia, let alone...

This Little Gem, could possibly be a relative Secret to most. The Shop is Small but the Flavours are Big! I especially think they are Contenders for the best "Good Ol' Fashion Hamburgers" in Cairns, but their menu is quite Varied for such a Little place. Love it , and go...
