Beaudesert Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Queensland

Amazing food and staff. Our vehicle had unfortunately broken down but thankfully we pulled over not far from Beaudesert Fish & Chips. While we waited for a friend to come help out, we grabbed some dinner and absolutely enjoyed it. The staff, even though they were flat out busy in a Friday night, were friendly, helpful and patient with some of those other customers who didn’t know what they wanted or changed their minds several times. There is a little seating area out front - it had been raining and an older lady wanted to sit so the staff came out and wiped the table and chairs down for her which was nice to see rather than just giving her napkins to do it. Not happy with the service this day and It seemed to me old oil was used. The batter on the fish was not nice nor the fish in the slightest it was not crisp by any means and the fish was slightly cold in some parts and the fish looked limp The spring roll looked burnt to me overall certainly not happy with this meal at all Hope there is a big improvement if not I will not go there again Over $19 with a can of drink for 1 person and the quality definitely ...

We waited about half an hour for our food, when it arrived the contents of the seafood basket wasn’t what the menu described. Our food was very bland and some parts too oily. My partner and I were very sick all night and morning after. Chips were good though. It was busy when we came so that might be why we had a not so great experience but we won’t be coming back, we cannot risk...
