$9.50 for a pie… it had very little meat, and the meat it did contain was chewy and low quality, with the filling mostly a lard-like substance—it was not enjoyable at all. Hoping the $9 pastry would redeem the experience, I tried it, but it was small and completely flavourless. On top of that, the young girl serving could at least smile or pretend she wants to be there. Overall, I did not feel this was worth the price—$21 for a pie, small pastry, and a drink. The only positive was the drink, which was pre-packaged.

This is Banhmi heavan. It's run by an old school Vietnamese baker who does the best Banhmi in Cairns. Amazing french roll, proper pate pork with crackling and loads of chilli. Definitely one of my favorites.

Real handmade baguettes, sourdough and pastries. Best bread on the northern beaches.

Blossom Bakery is one of the better bakeries in Cairns & especially on the Northern Beaches. I love fresh exotic breads to spice up my sandwichs for lunch, there's Whole Grain, Rye or whatever your taste buds desire. They have a good selection of healthy premade rolls for lunch if that's more your speed, along with a good selection of cakes that you can buy whole or by the slice. Pastries are also available as are the usual selection of pies, sausage, spinach & ricotta rolls. There's a good selection of cold drinks or you can have a coffee to your liking. They have a great deal on coffee as you get a donut for free, anything for free is rare in this day & age. Dine in the airconditing, outside or take away. The Bakery is Asian owned & staffed so you get that super Asian, friendly service with a smile. Drop in & give them a try. I'm sure, like me you'll be glad you did & end up a...

The staff are friendly nothing against them. But wow possibly the worst coffee we ever had in Aus. Not made with expresso, definetely drip and frothed milk. We threw it away. Made very complicated pricing with a dollar donut. Smoothies 2 for $9 because it makes two with all the old frozen fruit. Was supposed to be watermelon but was orange and tasted like old frozen fruit no taste. Threw it away. Also the cafe on corner has closed so good luck finding a...
