Bundy Chop Shop — Restaurant in Queensland

When we get to new places, we always check out the local butcher shops and we have found some great ones in our time. This one was no exception. The variety was huge. The boys were friendly and the cost was reasonable. Most of the meat was prepacked, but I think if you wanted something special they would cut it for you. The sauces were great.( we love the hot Mr Higgs). They even had strawberries and custard for dessert if you wanted it. We will be definitely going back there next time we are in town. In 6 years on the road and buying from many butcher shops all over Australia the Chop Shop has to be as good as any that we have found. And that's a big wrap from a devout carnivore who avoids supermarket meat at any cost! Quality 10/10. Friendly helpful service 10/10. And everything else 10/10. A traditional butcher but different. Here in Bundy on holiday but have been back here every day!! There’s thick cut bacon and lamb roasts are to die for, not to mention the great customer service I’ve had by every person in there that’s served me or are working out the back, nothing like walking into a shop and getting a good ol’ welcoming hello when you walk through the door leaves an ever lasting impression!
