Went there today when I saw the reviews were good I like a good pie Even better when the pies better than good. This pie was good, (curry) I’ll probably give it about a seven out of 10. But I’m gonna have a Winge! because it felt like it was about 100° bloody hot 🥵 This one went out the door way too hot I spent 15 minutes trying to eat it and the pain from burning my mouth the whole time made the pie taste terrible. Please watch those temperatures. I honestly don't know what all the hype was in previous reviews as the curry pie was indeed curry flavoured like the lid fell off the container when adding the spice. The veggie pie was probably the worst pie I have ever eaten haha just because it is a vegetarian pie doesn't mean you can't use salt and pepper, maybe use some potatoes as a thickener instead of cornstarch or whatever was used as the thickener of the goop that is called the gravy. Wow! We stopped in on our way through Mareeba and I’m thrilled we did! Its an authentic country bakery with big pies, fresh cakes, huge loaves of bread and lots of other treats all for completely reasonable prices especially for being fresh.

We ended up getting Potato & Steak Pies, Steak & Mushroom Pie, Fresh Cream Bun, an Apple Cinnamon scroll cluster, a loaf of apricot and nut bread, and a super tasty fresh carrot cake!
