We came to this bakery for the first time after hearing all the great reviews especially regarding their almond croissant. My boyfriend and I were sharing one of them as well as a brownie and an almond flat white. Omg! I didn’t know almond croissants could be that good 10/10 and def not the last time :) it’s huge, crispy flaky and so moist, sweet and just delicious inside. Also what a great value for $7! The brownie was also good but more average. Can’t wait to try now all their other stuff next time!

I got two pies. Chunky steak and pepper and beef, bacon, and cheese. Both pies had good flavour with a decent pastry. Personal preference is a Chunky Steak and Bacon over Mince and Bacon. This was a tasty one though. Unfortunately the pies are a little on the smaller side but definitely some of the best I have found in the area. I will be back to try more.

Big range of baked goods, helpful staff. Pies are not huge but the meat fillings were quality while the pastry was delicious & also stayed crisp in the paper bags on the way home. Pepper steak pies are very peppery! Mum loved her chicken mornay pie. Almond croissants are huge and not too sweet.

First visit to this bakery and it is without a doubt my last.

Waited 15 minutes to be served not because they were busy but simply because 4 staff were up the other end of the counter gossiping with each other even after the older lady possibly manager/owner asked if anyone was serving of which one girl said she was serving whilst the others ignored her and continued their gossip session.

When I was eventually served they got a very simple order wrong and the order had to be corrected.

They also charge a surcharge on EFTPOS transactions. (Didn’t use credit)

Food is well overpriced and of poor quality. I think the only thing the pepper steak pie had to do with pepper is it was made near some pepper. Pastry is ridiculously dry.

Custard in the vanilla slice has no taste of vanilla at all and has the consistency of rubber.

Would have to be the worst bakery I have ever...

Positive: Lovely atmosphere inside the bakery/cafe hybrid. Large variety of typical cafe food and drinks to choose from. The pies looked especially nice and there was a large variety of sandwiches - tradies may appreciate this little spot for ā€˜smoko’. Coffee related merchandise available to buy in store such as MilkLab accessories. 4/5. Negative: I ordered an apple turn over and flat white. The body of the apple turnover was very thick and slightly undercooked puff pastry. It was comparable to a meat pie base that had been sitting in the fridge for a day - but thicker. The cream filling was curdled. There was a scarce amount of apple filling replaced by an overwhelming amount of apple jelly. Not the best apple turnover I’ve tried from a bakery so on its own I rate it 2/5. The flat white was basically a cappuccino. The PADRE beans made a mild and smooth coffee....

Genuine review! First order was the beef brisket pie. Could not eat.! Overcooked and absolutely dry...been in hot box waaay too long. Asked for replacement pie which they happily gave me. Gave me a "curry" pie and choc eclair . One or the other upset my stomach badly.!, 45 minutes later it all started with pain in gut, then sweating, then gas , then started spewing my guts up under a tree. I believe the pies are kept in hot box far past their "safe consumption time" Other people also comment about the "small dried out" pies, which prove they are 'old' pies, and should be thrown out sooner .... or risk what happened to me.! Otherwise the food looks good, especially the...
