My wife and I came along for lunch with my two kids and my parents. It was nice that the kids had somewhere to play while waiting for their food, but that was definitely the highlight.

I ordered the kids some nuggets and a got a chicken burger and some nachos for my wife and I. I assumed that like most places the meals would come with a side of chips or maybe a basic salad. No. The kids nuggets were 6 obviously cheap, frozen chicken nuggets on a plate. With barely enough tomato sauce to have some in each bite. And that's it.

Likewise with the chicken burger. No chips or salads or other sides anywhere. I enquired if there were any chips still to come, and was informed, rather snobishly, that "oh, we don't do chips"

Beautiful and peaceful setting, but service and food/drink quality need to be addressed, in my opinion. Often enough we have had friendly service, but sometimes with small mistakes or misunderstandings in orders. The main trouble is that the coffee we've ordered has never been cafe-quality, nor even close. And the famous scones are always a disappointment. We've come back a few times to give them the benefit of the doubt and to enjoy the setting, but sadly won't be...
